The JD Experience Kicks Off!
On Friday 30th October Joe began his latest project featuring Josh Anderson and Alex Hancox with a brilliant collaborative cover of Tie Your Mother Down originally by the legendary Queen.
Working together to produce a sublime cover as a team, the three musicians clearly showed that despite the current global scenario there is no reason to ever lose hope among the ever increasing difficulty of surviving in the music industry. Josh’s playing was a particular highlight with some unbelievably creative solo work and improvisation. All of their talents came together as on to successfully launch The JD Experience.
The JD Experience is a collaborative projects where Joe will be organising a number of collaborations with some fantastic musicians to promote musical work in what is currently a very difficult time for everybody in the industry. Joe commented further on the Friday when the full cover was released online…
“I am absolutely thrilled to be setting up something for everybody to get involved in, no matter their age or ability, it is an opportunity which is there for everyone to have a crack at if they feel like bringing something new to the party. To keep our industry afloat is becoming increasingly difficult and many people are currently out of work, so an opportunity like this will hopefully come as a positive for many out there who are unable to work due to the current global scenario. Let’s make some music and magic happen with the best of the best.”
There will be plenty more collaborations to come over the next few months as Joe continues to bring together different musicians to play and cover some of the best known songs in the world. Tie Your Mother Down was a fantastic way to start.
